Today is the final day of Top 10 of 2013.
A week of Looking Back…
…and Looking Forward.
And I am thrilled to be able to co-host this event for the third year in a row with Jaime from Two Chicks on Books and for a second year with Mindy from Magical Urban Fantasy Reads.
If you haven’t yet heard of this week-long event, it’s where we’ve been sharing our favorite bookish lists and inviting you to share yours each day for the past five days by leaving your post links in the daily Linky Lists.
This year’s event giveaway is shared via a common Rafflecopter on all three of our blogs. Leaving a comment each day on each host’s blog will give you extra entries, so be sure to check out each of our Top 10 lists for more chances to win.
It’s not too late to sign up for this event – though today is the last day. Just check out the Sign-up Post for all the details – HERE.
Today’s topic is…
Last year, it seems, I cheated a little and I changed the post to top ten books in a series I’m dying to continue reading. This year I’m going to do the same.
Because there are already at least 80 books I’m pining for that will be releasing next year and there’s no way I can narrow that list down to ten. So this tens list is in NO way complete. Not by far.
Of course I just had to do an “honorable mentions” section listing a few other books I’m dying to read. And I will be posting a list of Top 10 Debut Books I’m Looking Forward to in 2014 on The Annex to fill some of those gaps I’m leaving.
But, to make things easier on myself, I decided to leave off the books in 2014 that I am looking forward to but have already read or am reading. Books such as UNHINGED by A.G. Howard, INDEPENDENT STUDY by Joelle Charbonneau, EVERTRUE by Brodi Ashton, PANIC by Lauren Oliver, and A LITTLE TOO HOT by Lisa Desrochers.
While this is the hardest list I’ve had to create yet, I think I’m happy with my choices. I just wish some of those “must read” 2014 books had covers… or titles.
